SECURE ENERGY, INC ANNOUNCES A FIRM NATURAL GAS TRANSPORTATION SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH NATURAL GAS PIPELINE COMPANY OF AMERICA St. Louis, MO, November 6, 2008 – Secure Energy, Inc. announced today that they have entered into a Firm Transportation Service Agreement with Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL). This agreement provides that Secure Energy may ship up to 67,000 mmBtu per day of natural gas on the NGPL pipeline beginning August 1, 2011 from Secure’s Decatur, Illinois Gasification Plant. Secure Energy will construct a 14-mile pipeline to interconnect with the NGPL pipeline in Piatt County, Illinois. |

DECATUR, IL – The Economic Development Corporation of Decatur & Macon County (EDC) announced today that the former Wagner Castings/Intermet foundry site in Decatur has been sold to a group of Pennsylvania-based investors. “The loss of the foundry three years ago was a blow to the community; however, with it came the opportunity for redevelopment of the area. The EDC has worked closely with representatives of CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) since they acquired the listing for the property early last year, to try to find the right buyers and developer for this prime piece of real estate,” said Craig Coil, President and CEO of the EDC. “This group of investors - 825 North Lowber LLC – appears to have the collective background in brownfields redevelopment and environmental clean-up to give them the experience to make this property viable for innumerable development opportunities.” |
