The EDC was honored to host leaders from University of Illinois System on September 24, 2024 as they embarked on a statewide tour to discover innovative ways to collaborate with partners throughout Illinois to address key areas such as economic development, innovation, access and affordability, and sustainability/agriculture. Macon County showcased many initiatives that are already making a positive impact with facility tours at Primient and Innovafeed.
