How long have you served Macon County?
We started working in the Decatur market in the 1970s when we did a lot of construction work for phone companies like Illinois Bell and GTE. Since that time, we’ve built relationships within the community that have led to more projects, particularly in recent years. We value the partnerships we’ve built with Decatur-area subcontractors and vendors who help us serve our clients with excellence.
What makes doing business in Decatur/Macon County unique?
The energy, excitement and community pride make working in Decatur and Macon County unique. Having worked in the Decatur area for decades, we have witnessed incredible transformation in the community, which is fueled by a strong community vision. The EDC has played a vital role in helping shape the future of Macon County, and we are honored to be a part of it.
Do you have any news, recent victories or accomplishments to share such as an expansion or remodeling?
We’ve been fortunate to work on several exciting projects in Decatur recently: the new Heroes Hall at the Children’s Museum of Illinois (pictured to the left), an exterior renovation at ADM, the new Prairie Eye Clinic, the Millikin University softball fields, the Carroll Center at Richland Community College, and the Scovill Zoo train extension. We have also served HSHS St. Mary’s and Decatur Memorial Hospital with their construction projects.
Are you offering a new product or service?
Not necessarily new, but we offer Construction Management, Design-Build, General Contracting, Building Maintenance and Master Planning services.
